Hello, I’m Sadia! I’m British and an experienced English Teacher based in Italy. I’m bilingual in English and Punjabi and conversational in Hindi and Urdu.
I am an experienced social work manager with a First Class degree in International Social Work and an MSc in Violence, Conflict and Development Studies from SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies, London). I have worked in public and private companies in London, United Kingdom, and Sydney, Australia.
I have completed the globally recognised CELTA course (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) at The Cambridge School in Verona, Italy.
I have enjoyed travelling throughout my life, including volunteer work in Nigeria, research project in India and a farm caretaker in Italy.
I am passionate about English literature and enjoy novels, short stories and poetry. I use up to date resources to plan your lessons including world news, cultural events and global issues.
I am dedicated to my students. I am honoured to work with you on your journey in learning English, becoming fluent and stepping out in the world.
